| Meat Industry Training Qualifications Certificate 2: Meat Processing (Labouring, packing, Rendering Basic, other). Certificate 3: Meat Processing (Boner, Slicer, Slaughter person, Rendering Advanced, Laboratory Assistant, other). Certificate 4: Meat Processing (Supervisor/Team Leader, Quality Assurance/Control Officer, Meat Inspection). Diploma: Safety Manager, Environment Manager, Quality Assurance/Control Manager, Meat Inspector, Production Manager. Advanced Diploma: Site/Works Manager, Quality Assurance/Control Manager, Human Resources Manager, Maintenance Manager. The industry also supports further study and training through assisted funding programs for upskilling into Degree, Graduate Certificates, Graduate Diploma, Masters and MBA programs once qualification criteria are achieved (i.e. time worked in the industry). Some scholarship programs (University study) are also available for children of existing employees, subject to selection criteria. |
