Product Quality

An objective of Teys has been to successfully implement a quality control system to improve and maintain product quality.

Teys is committed to producing and maintaining product quality to comply with customer specification requirements by continuously monitoring processing procedures to ensure quality principles are maintained. By utilising the latest technology methods in foreign contaminant detection, Teys can ensure their product integrity has not been jeopardised.

Teys’ “THE MARK OF QUALITY” reflects our aim to strive for strong brand recognition and to be a market leader.

Aus-Meat & MSA Standards

To ensure our quality control systems are maintained, we use processing principles that comply with accreditation standards and certification requirements of Aus-Meat and Meat Standards Australia (MSA). These principles ensure that the product quality attributes are of the highest standard.

Process & Product Standardisation

To ensure customers continuously receive consistent product, Teys has introduced a standardisation system whereby all processing facilities use Teys Best Practice processing procedures.

To ensure this system is maintained, a series of audits is conducted to verify system compliance. This system allows us to determine if documented quality-related activities are implemented effectively, and are suitable for achieving stated objectives.

Implementing Continuous Improvements

Teys’ commitment to customer service and satisfaction is of the highest priority at all processing facilities. With the implementation of the Teys electronic document management system, access to real time information for all plants within the Teys group of companies is now a reality.  The new system allows remote access and reporting for all quality realted information and data across the group. To meet our customer’s needs, we utilise industry experience in Quality Management Principles and Processing Practice, invest in new technologies and implement continuous improvement processes.
